Compassionate Support for Families of the Incarcerated

Our mission is simple: : to provide real support for real families. Whether it’s connecting you to essential resources or just being a steady source of encouragement, Prison Stops Nothing is here to let you know you’re not alone.

What We Do

Right now, we focus on offering guidance, emotional support, and access to resources that help families stay connected and strong. But this is just the beginning. As we grow, we aim to expand our services to include financial assistance for critical needs such as:

Rent or utility bills

Communication services like Securus and JPay

Gas or transportation

Groceries and basic household needs

We’re Official!

We’re excited to share that Prison Stops Nothing has officially received our 501(c)(3) non-profit status. That means we can now accept tax-deductible donations, which will go directly toward helping families facing the heavy burden of incarceration.

Every dollar we receive is a step closer to helping a family breathe a little easier.

How You Can Help

Your support—whether through a donation, volunteering, or spreading the word—can make a powerful difference. Together, we can remind families that no matter the circumstances, Prison Stops Nothing.

Guidance for Families Facing Incarceration

Families facing incarceration often experience emotional, financial, and logistical challenges that can feel overwhelming. Guidance is essential to help them navigate the criminal justice system and maintain stability during this difficult time. It’s important for families to seek reliable legal information, stay informed about court dates and procedures, and access community resources such as counseling, financial assistance, and support groups. Maintaining communication with the incarcerated loved one through visitation, letters, or phone calls can help preserve family bonds and provide emotional support. Advocating for the rights and needs of both the incarcerated person and their family members—especially children—is critical to minimizing long-term negative impacts and fostering resilience.

Support for Families Facing Incarceration

Support for families facing incarceration is crucial to help them cope with the emotional, social, and financial burdens that often arise. These families may experience stigma, isolation, and disruptions to daily life, especially when a primary caregiver is incarcerated. Access to support services—such as counseling, peer support groups, legal aid, childcare, and reentry programs—can provide stability and connection during a time of crisis. Community organizations, schools, and faith-based groups can also play a vital role in offering compassion and practical assistance. Providing a strong support network not only strengthens the well-being of the family but also contributes to healthier outcomes for children and smoother reintegration for the incarcerated individual upon release.
